Why Strikes are so common in India?

I wonder why we face so many strikes in India. Everyday we find one or other services on offer by government even by private sector are on strike. These striking parties or groups can be doctors, engineers, civil servants, lawyers, drivers, pilots, etc. you name any profession and I bet that group has utilise this STRIKE as weapon to make his point.

Why these strikes happen? I feel we Indians have become so aloof to others concern that until that person takes some strong retaliatory action we never notice his genuine or otherwise need. OR we have stopped being responsible enough to discharge our duties properly. If we are performing as defined no body should feel short of services obtained by him.

These doctors, lawyers, drivers, pilots, bankers etc never think of problem caused to others. They or all others on strike or planning a strike to make their Point understood by concerned authorities should think of other manner to make their felt by concerned. BUT they should never stop their work and cause loss to their organisation, society, nation and ultimately to themselves.

They can launch awareness program through media, publicity, protests with badges, walks on Sunday or holidays, even after office hours, I am confident if public comes to know their this productive protest for genuine demands every single person would join them irrespective of his/her profession.

India got liberated not because only politicians were fighting the battle, actually all and sundry were together for one common cause. So, my simple IQ says don’t go for strike based on your profession, make your point in public and let the public help you. Public will join you if they know your demands are genuine and you are respecting public’s need and not discontinuing your services.

May people understand this simple logic.
