Politics of Economy Class

Penny wise Pound foolish; I feel the current controversy over ministerial expenses over official tours, staying etc has gain momentum without any real time concern by these shouting mass who is pretending to be very upright in discharging their duties and working as per laid down norms.

Mr Shashi Tharoor may be wrong in occupying expensive hotel room, but there are many others who are spending government money without a second thought. The “Cattle Class” remark is not in good taste, the point is taken but many senior leaders occupying government properties without their entitlement or expiry of their entitlement should also be criticised and views in same spirit.

Some odd trips by Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Mr Rahul Gandhi in economy class will certainly make people think before spending government and tax payers’ money. It is a positive gesture shown by them and needed to be followed by all MPs and other senior government officials.

Why we always want to learn on others mistakes OR realise when others draw attention to a mistake committed? Why can we be UPRIGHT from the start and be governed by our self-consciousness towards important aspects of life?

As they say preaching is easier than doing, we should make right efforts to set examples for others to follow. This can be the simple logic here.
